CHINA BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS
GATHER AND SEND THE FOLLOWING DOCUEMNTS

 


 

PASSPORT

You must provide your actual signed passport, including one copy of the personal information page of your passport. Your passport must:

  • At least 6 months beyond the validity of the requested visa.

  • Contain at least two blank visa pages for the visa stamp (amendments and endorsement pages cannot be used to fulfill this requirement)
     

LETTER OF INVITATION

A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in China. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of China, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager and stamped with the company seal. The business letter must include the following information:
Personal information of the applicant: name, gender, date of birth, passport details, and job title.
State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.), the dates of the visit, and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in China.

VISA APPLICATION FORM 

Applicant must complete visa application online. When you fill out online visa application, make sure write down the APPLICATION ID, and when you complete the online application. DO NOT CLICK on Submit button (step 11 - Review) to submit your application online. A copy of the applicant's driver's license or state issued ID.

If you have been granted a China visa in the past, you must provide a copy of the most recent issued China visa. If the visa is not located in your current passport, you must submit a copy of the passport containing the previous China visa.

INVITATION LETTER

You must provide a letter of invitation from the individual you are visiting. The invitation must:

​

  • Include your name, gender, and date of birth

  • Provide host's full name, contact information, telephone number, address, and signature

  • Include information regarding the relationship between you and your host

  • Detail the purpose of your trip

  • Specify your arrival and departure dates

  • Include the full address of the intended residence

​

HOST ID:

A copy the host's Chinese ID (not Chinese passport), both front and back sides, or, if host is not a citizen of China, copies of their Chinese residence permit and their national passport's information pages.
